I don't get (dare not spend) a lot of time on the computer at home. I will work on it in the evenings I have this week and hopefully get something out for the weekend.

40, working, married , 2 kids, dog, ginea pig, 2 fish and a horse! doesn't leave a lot of time.

And no C64 ?!!! Well, I understand, probably it's the guinea pig playing with it all the time desperatly trying to save the hamster from the microwave in Maniac Mansion...

About Frodo, is there tape support or is it disabled somehow? Tried some stuff but no way... Just can program in C64 basic :

10 print "Dingoo ";
20 poke 646, rnd(2)*17
30 get A$: if A$<>"H" then 10
40 print "enough already?"

I am aiming to get tape support into the next version. if you cannot wait for the new version take a look at the frodorc file , you can probably figure out what you need to do to get a tape running (although I haven't tested it yet).

Tried to modify that frodorc already, mimicking the D64 to T64 and 8 to 1 but I still have "no device found" when typing load in C64. Maybe there's a cable problem?!! ;)

Vice is out then, so there will be emulation. Tried it but can't have it to run.

But I will try again !

You can actually play Frododingo from the Dinguxb, I have no idea how to make FrodoDingo show on Demenu so i had no choice but to run it in Dinguxb.

Not to worry, I put tape and disk image support in the next version along with a menu for selecting the images directly within the emulator itself. I tried it with a .t64 file last night and it worked fine. Just got to round it off a little more before releasing it but it should be out for the weekend with any luck.

If the vice port performance is good then it's likely to be my last release as I hear it's a better emulator.

well, Vice is maybe better than Frodo, as it was already on the Gp2x and other machines but it's still nice to have a choice + some emulators can be improved by nice options some never have, for instance save states or simply a better button configuration.

Continue the nice job, Vice isn't working really yet (for some elite programmers only!) and the dingoo deserve at least 2 C64 emulators !

encore Bravo !
