duke nukem 3d port

Postby joyrider on Sat Jun 13, 2009 7:46 pm

hey guys,

quickly did the duke nukem 3d thing it's fully working. You'll need the atomic 1.4 edition of this game to make it work (which is not included)
also when playing the game be sure to turn on "autorun mode" or you might think the game runs slowly (but it's actually duke walking instead of running) :)

availible here :

and here's a little movie of it running :

Why don't you include everything that's needed to run it?

That's really good news. My dingoo hasn't arrived yet and I couldn't test Duke, so could you post some details about controls?

well i didn't change anything to the controls, since it basicly worked out of the box. you do however have to remap them the first time you run duke3d. It is possible to map strafe left & strafe right to the L/R triggers.

about the files if you got the cd laying around you have to copy all datafiles in the same folder as the duke3d executable, these are the files i had :
cdrom.ini demo2.dmo duke3d.cfg modem.pck
commit.dat demo3.dmo duke3d.grp
defs.con duke.rts game.con ultramid.ini
demo1.dmo duke3d license.doc user.con

some are probably not needed like the *.dmo and *.doc files.
