I have my controls like so:

a=fire
b=press to use and change inventory item.
y=change weapon
x=jump
l=duck
r=strafe
start=use inventory item

This allows me to do everything needed inluding flying the jetpack....

So I have never ever played Duke Nukem before and wanted to ask: How to enable autorun (or rather, enable it by itself) and what if there are multiple functions mapped to one key? Do I have to change everything in the duke3d.cfg by myself? Maybe someone here willing to help out with his .cfg file?

Because I'm really quite helpless since I don't know what I need to use mostly and what isn't needed at all...
Does it even recognize every change to the cfg? I've tried some changes but not all of them have been actually recognized

To autorun just bind a button to "toggle run". Then you can switch between running and walking.
If there are multiple mapped to one key, then multiple actions take place. So you can map crouch and "toggle run" to one button. Every time you press crouch button, you'll toggle run too.
You can map buttons form in-game menu, but you can't delete mapping from it. You'll have to delete it manually from duke3d.cfg file.

That's my problem, not all the changes I made have been actually recognized (for example mapping runlock to strafe... it still is the 180 turn even though I deleted that mapping from the cfg)... so can someone tell me what is needed the most and how best to map it? Or even better quickly upload his own duke3d.cfg? I think I seriously can't handle that on my own without suffering nervous breakdowns -.-

You mean /loca/home/.duke3d/duke3d.cfg? Because that ones kinda messed up. And the one in the games folder won't recognize all changes I make

EDIT: Ah I've got it now, I had to delete the folder simply.

Is it possible to get Duke3D to work with booboos rootfs?

As jmd28 I also have some problems with black screen and sound flick while loading duke3d. I've scaned my microsd 16GB and it's fine. when I load the same files on 2 GB card duke runs fine. This is the only game I'm having problems with.. any ideas?
