We're not going to need much more than this until Linux becomes *the* Firmware. I would make some skins for it if I had the time. I did have a bit of a play but then found out that the Dingoo screen and gradients aren't the best of friends. I've got some ideas though, it's just finding the damned time!

It's a 16-bit screen, you just need to use dithering to get good gradients, but then you should use dithering for any high quality graphics rendering in 16-bit.

i keep getting this message:

-sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
>> jzfb_set_par

my dmenu is in /root, i added those two lines to the bottom of my rcS file, i'm pretty sure i'm using the right rootfs.

i added the line

::sysinit:/bin/logon -f root

to my etc/inittab, since otherwise i just get stuck at a prompt for logging me in (which i can't).

haha, and as a bonus, i accidentally ran the kernel through the usbtool instead of the installer. could that be the problem?
