I've added some stuff i've tested to the wiki http://a320.bluwiki.com/go/A320_FAQ#Wha ... A320_do.3F

I used Handbrake.fr to convert video's using the "psp" preset (and using ".mp4" not ".m4v" file extension) is working great and conversion is quite fast.
Handbrake can only "burn" subtitles "on the screen" when using a DVD as source however.

I recommend alltoavi to convert media files; it's free, simple, does a good job and you can add subtitles (srt, sub ...)

All Video Converter Professional is the program I use. Lots of formats, very helpful and you can download videos off youtube. If I have a DVD, I use 1CLICKDVDTOIPOD to get from DVD to iPod so I can watch them on my iPod/Dingoo.

About what range of a file size do you get on an average movie file from 1clickdvdtoipod? Is it shareware or how much is it to buy?

Well, the program lets you choose the size/quality. Obviously, as the quality goes up, so does the size. I don't really watch movies on my Dingoo, so I usually convert them about 30 quality, which is pretty good for an iPod Classic, and is about 500mb per video. If you wanted smaller sizes, I think the lowest is around 350mb or so, for a standard film.

You do have to buy the program, but if you know where to look, you shouldn't have many problems
