Residual - is the name of the project. Currently it barely runs Grim Fandango...

So don't hold you breath...

Is there some key-combination to quit scummvm?

When playing the german version of simon the sorcerer 1&2, I'm asked to press "j" to quit, so I have to do a hard restart :(

edit: Just found I can't save a game since I would need to press "enter"

How can I open the savemenu?
I can´t figure it out, and pressing buttoncombos only make Scumm and Dingoo crash. :?
Edit: Just push "Start". :o Life can be so easy. :oops:

"Inherit the Earth" seems to work faster now and is very playable.
"Broken Sword 2" is working very good.
"Drascula" is still slow.
"Touche..." is working with normal resolution which fits in Dingoo's screen but hangs for me in the intro.
"I have no mouth..." is recognized now and plays well but now I've found its fonts are smaller compared to other games.
My vacation is over so I will have little time to test but I just wanted to point that many games are recognized and playable now and some are even faster than before :)

Broken Sword 2 is very slow in my dingoo, the sound is poor, the moving of cursor is also slow..

Has anyone managed to get scummVM working with dmenu 0.3? If so, could you post your dmenu entry? Here´s my entry:
MenuItem ScummVM
{
Icon = "res/emulators/scummvm.png"
Name = "Scummvm"
Executable = "export SDL_NOMOUSE=1 ; ./scummvm"
WorkDir = "/usr/local/emulators/scummvm"
}

It says: cannot execute SDL_NOMOUSE=1 ; ./scummvm . Without SDL_NOMOUSE it says: cannot open mouse...
Help please! :)

Hi

Entry should be...

MenuItem ScummVM
{
Icon = "res/emulators/scummvm.png"
Name = " Scummvm"
Executable = "./scummvm"
WorkDir = "/usr/local/emulators/scummvm"
}

The line "export SDL_NOMOUSE=1" is already set in the main.cfg in local/sbin

I know, but it says "Could not initialize SDL: Unable to open mouse!" then.
And now i got another error at first: "FSNode::createReadStream: FSNode does not exist!"
:(
edit: nevermind, got it to work by putting "SDL_NOMOUSE=1" into local/sbin/main

Hello.

I want to first thank those who were able to put the scummvm / dingux port together. i am very appreciative. i have a question regarding dingux/scumm

I have scummvm installed and one game i own is called "indiana jones and the last crusade." its a great game and its one of those old lucasarts point and click games. Well i noticed when you play the game, there is no key mapped for "fighting" see if you play this game on the computer you have an option of fighting through some situations (and as i recall you have to in some parts of the game fight). but since the directional keys are mapped to act as the mouse, indy will not move in the fighting sequence. there is also no button mapped for him to attack. i wasn't sure if there was a way to remap the buttons specifically for that game without effecting the other games.

has anyone played this game? do you know what i am talking about (if not, when you first start the game get into the boxing ring and try to fight. you'll see what i mean)

also am i on the most current version of scumm? the file date is July 21, 2009
