Specific 1541 Emulation means, that the CPU in the Floppy drive is emulated. The 1541 Floppy had an 6510 CPU itself. Some games used this CPU for copy protection.

The speed of frodo is a lot better than VICE, but it´s not as accurate i think. Many demos are glitching/not loading for example in Frodo, while they work fine Vice. But the sound can actually be heard in Frodo, so one point here for Frodo.
It´s a winwin situation, think of FBA and MAME. :)

Why was .zip support removed?

Any possibility to be able to add/support folders in the gameslist? When you have over 1000 games, it can take a bit long to browse from A to Z. Would be nice if you could put the games in folders abc... and then chose your game from there.
