Vice is a big project and probably better suited to someone with a bit more experience than me. There was a project before vice called frodo which got ported to the gp2x but i think it uses the framebuffer directly which is beyond my knowledge of the dingoo at present. However I have become aware of another version of Frodo which uses SDL as the rendering engine but it renders at a fixed resolution to big for the dingoo. However I believe I may be able to work around the issue with hopefully not too much of a hit on performance. i.e. I think its possible to fudge frodo SDL to work on the dingoo without too much effort.

Thanks for the update MrLogan.

I think the ST Emulator is great, 2nd mouse button support and more work on the virtual keyboard would be great, the second mouse button would really help as it needed for a lot RPGs. If both of those things are easy to add it would be good to see them included.

There has been lots of people asking for a C64 emu. I would also love to see one but would gladly hang on if you wanted to add the above item to Hatari.

Really grateful for all your work so far.

ok, not getting far on the commander keen freeze on exit problem so I guess I might was well get cracking on the atari requests. i could use the name of a few games which would test out the 3 additions I mentioned i.e. right mouse button, key board direction controls and "string entry"

Hi

You could test th game Virus to check the right/left mouse buttons. At the moment you can Thrust with the A button but you cannot fire.

I think mapping the other mouse button to X would be the best option as its more comfortable.

For the cursor keys you could use this musicdisk: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=7635 (space to skip intro)
Don´t know exactly about the second mousebutton, but i think Battleships used it to turn your ships on the map. ^^
btw: most musicdisks and demos play fine at 44000khz sound quality, at least @ 430 mhz :D

I'm pretty sure that Professional Football Masters uses the right mouse button to exit from slected menu screens. I have tried it so i know it runs on Hatari.

I also think you need the right button on Operation Stealth and Future wars (not too sure about Future wars). This is to bring up the inventory menu during the games.

I don't know about the cursor keys though.

At the moment, I haven't thought to install Dingux, but surely someday I will do it...

Anyway, I would love to play Atari ST and C=64 on Dingoo.

Thanks for your work.

Hi

Just done a quick test and works perfectly. Can finally play Virus. Great Work!

Any chance you can look at the issues with some of the other emus as this seems pretty complete now. MSX needs a keyboard + crashing on exit bug.

Emulator itself is perfect apart from these 2 issues.
