It's great to see this done, although I'll likely never use it since I have ScummVM on my phone (Android - t-mobile G1)
I'm pretty suprised at what I've seen running on Linux on the Dingoo. It's really a lot faster than I originally thought it would be. Hopes for the future!

bob, since you hopefuly will have tested it a bit by now, how well do more intensive games run on the dingoo?

i know ts still early life, and unoptimized, but do you think high quilaity sound/video games like COMI or Broken Sword will run at full speed?

Yeah I haven't really done any more testing, I've been trying to contribute to some more basic linux functionality, as it's a bit pointless having a polished version of ScummVM if the dingoo has to be tethered to the computer to run it . Also I thought I had a copy of Full Throttle but I can't find it, I think that's fairly advanced as ScummVM games go, if I do find it I'll do another video.

Hi ChaoticBob
Full Throttle is not so hard to find but I thin k ican't give you any link here or site where you can find it. Try to PM me and i'll do it :)
And that's true it's an advance game as The Dig who requires a lot of memory to run.

fair point.

full throttle would be a good guage i think (and also a freaking awesome game), i think its got a lower colour depth than curse of monkey island and broken sword though. but i think it will be the sound emulation that the dingoo will struggle with most, so FT should test adequetly.

thanks again though, cant wait to have this running on my dingoo. insult sword fighting while riding the bus will be a real time killer. :D
