checking the gp2x site (dcemu) everyday to find out when the hell the wiz was finally gonna be released. there was a topic on there about the dingoo. and when the supposed april release date of the wiz came and went i said a mental f*ck-it to gamepark, and decided to order a dingoo instead. so far, its been worth it.

I was browsing the "New Items" section of Dealextreme and saw it listed for $115. I thought it sounded interesting but waaaay too expensive. Then the price dropped $30, and it suddenly became a much more compelling purchase.

I saw a post on the video game site joystiq.com about the Chinavision machine. Did a bit of research and found out it was nothing but a Dingoo. Purchased immeadiately from DX and waited for a loooooong time for it to ship.

Been happy ever since, aside from some minor issues.

I was looking for a new Neo Geo CD game and found it listed in the middle of it all. It was not called a dingoo, but a media player. It sparked my interest so I began searching the net and finally learned it was a dingoo. Found this forum and the rest is history.

GP32x.com
Other consoles section
Not sure what drew me to it, but the fact it has so many different names made it confusing to research there at first. Then I realized 3 names (Chinavision ?, a320, Dingoo) for the same thing.

Then I found this place :)

I first heard about it on dcemu, but I didn't think about it much then, until I saw it on openhandhelds.org recently(gp32x was down), and that brought me here, I decided to purchase one from DX, and now I'm just waiting for it to come in the mail. Can't wait :).

I saw the Gizmodo/Kotaku article on the Chinavision branded version, looked it up, bought it at DX.
My PSP's been shelved for the most part, this handles almost everything I need and more in a handheld console.
Although, the fact that it came with 7 Days Salvation kinda sealed the deal.. I had a demo of that game on my Nokia phone, and thought it ROCKED. I was ecstatic to find the full game preloaded on my Dingoo :D
