That first one requires X, so you would still have to be compiling X for the dingoo, which you can do in buildroot but its going to add alot of overhead. I guess the second one may have a shot, but that is some convoluted programming, just reading the install file. It was originally written for a pda from the 90's, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psion_Revo , so Im assuming it uses its own wierd format.

Yeah the psion, I was looking into that and I couldn't find what operating system it uses. I only found out that it is compiled in linux.

Not trying to make your program seem useless or anything, but there is another way to get a full scientific/graphing calculator on the Dingoo, by means of a TI-83 (not TI-83+) emulator for the GBA. It's made by Dwedit and you can get it from http://www.dwedit.org/dwedit_board/viewtopic.php?id=292

Find the TI-83 rom yourself (should be available on the Texas Instruments page itself as long as you own the actual calculator), then append it to the end of the emulator core with the command shown (or the equivalent for whatever operating system you're running). It starts in full-screen mode, so press Select so you can get to the On button. The whole things works fairly well and at almost full speed for most graphing purposes, at least on the GBA. Not entirely sure if it will run the same in the Dingoo's GBA emulator, but it's worth a shot at least.

Protip: learn the B-button shortcuts ("Quick Keys") - they're insanely helpful in using the program quickly.

Wow,

I am a HP scientific calculator guy myself but this GBA TI83 is about the coolest bit of school-ware I’ve seen.

Tips: the rom file you need usually has the file name ti83_1.rom
I used the command: copy /b ti83_mb.gba + ti83_1.rom ti83_mb_rom.gba
It [ti83_mb_rom.gba] works beautiful in the native Dingoo GBA emulator and the GBA save states work!

As a simple non-scientific calculator SDLcalc also works nice in Dingux, thanks mrLogan.

I followed the instructions everything went well i got a 292 kb file but when launched it doesn't do anything more then the old gba file without the rom. :S

With the multiboot version ti83_mb.gba being 38.4 KB (39,416 bytes) and the ti83_1.rom being 256 KB (262,144 bytes) the total size of ti83_mb_rom.gba should be 294 KB (301,560 bytes).

Get the ti83_mb.gba file from here: http://www.dwedit.org/dwedit_board/viewtopic.php?pid=2640#p2640

Also don't let yourself get confused by the seemingly blank screen. Again, it starts with the calculator off and the buttons hidden, so press Select to show the buttons so you can navigate to the On button and press it. After that, if you have appended an additional .83g file, go back to full-screen mode and press L+R to "send" the program to the calculator. It'll take a few seconds, and after that the program should appear in the "programs" menu.

Best to try the compiled file in VBA first so you don't waste time transferring it to your Dingoo just to test.

You have to press the on button lol
Now it is working :)
So the dingoo just beat the ti-83 calc.
I made a vid of my dingoo emulating the ti-83, my offical logitech record software failed on me so i used the crappy but pretty fast youtube one.
