Calculator for Dingux - SDLcalc v1.0

This is for the guy with the calculator fetish that haunts these forums.

Only kidding. I did it as a bit of a learning exercise.

Dpad = moves across the buttons.
A = select button
SELECT = quit

Installation
============
Just shove all the files in a directory somewhere and make the usual additions to your menu config.

Some of the buttons don't work because I didn't have a clue what they were for ;)

Anyway, Enjoy..?

I know the guy with calculator fetish, because he is brazilian like myself ;) But he is not fascinated with calculators; the thing he really wish is a java virtual machine.
I really want it too, because it opens a lot of possibilities. But im eager to learn how to port things for Dingux, to do these type of ports too. But, if you can try to port PSPKVM to Dingux, like this port, only to learn, I (and dukemagus, the guy who dreams with calcs!) will be really pleased.

Espontaneo, don´t get mad at me! ;) But my iPhone doesn´t run Java, and I prefer to carry my Dingoo over a $40 crap phone, so if java starts to run on Dingoo I will have the best of both worlds (by Van Halen) in my hands :D

GT = grand total

> = I think this is a shift or function button

Very cool. I was the one that made the req: topic for a calculator.
So I am very glad with the calculator.
The only thing that I want to point out, if we want to do it even better, the calculator has to do more then a standard phone calculator. But I see if your just starting to code that would be pretty damn hard.
But I still see this as a standard program for the Dingoo, it is small it is useful. So this adds great function to the dingoo even if you won't use it all the time.

I would prefer this calculator above the one on my phone.
Some improvements:
Cut off the top of the calculator and make the whole thing bigger!
I could make a nice interface for you if you want it?

Not so fast: this one has a source code:
http://x48.berlios.de/
This is one that fits the screen a lot better:
http://bhepple.freeshell.org/dcalc/psion/note.html
It isn't a emulator but just a scientific calculator program for an old handheld.
It is open source, source is in the editor notes.

I was just talking about the one he posted, not that calculator in general. That first one requires X, so you would still have to be compiling X for the dingoo, which you can do in buildroot but its going to add alot of overhead. I guess the second one may have a shot, but that is some convoluted programming, just reading the install file. It was originally written for a pda from the 90's, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psion_Revo , so Im assuming it uses its own wierd format.
