New Theme - by Hellsing - Updated 22 Aug

Postby Hellsing1 on Sat Aug 15, 2009 6:38 pm

Hi,

Here is my current theme. This replaces all the basic icons. Please give feedback or request any new icons here.

Was bored of the round icons so did these one. Please backup your current icons.

They are in the correct folder except the wallpaer which needs copying to the correct folder.

Updated: Link working now.

Hi,

Have updated all the files in the ports folder - got rid of the icons with round icons placed on them.

Folder now contains 10 unused icons so you can rename them + Goldeneye, Halflife and Simpsons.

Enjoy

Hi, Hellsing1.

Please read this.
http://code.google.com/p/dmenu/issues/detail?id=13

Mr.rookie1 (author of dmenu) wants some icon & theme for distribute with dmenu on GPL or CC license.

I think your icons are very cool and I love them.
If you are OK, please contact Mr.rookie1 and make some PNG set for dmenu default theme.

Hi

Thanks for the comments. Not sure if an official theme is needed as it seems people will use whatever theme they like best.

Thinking of doing a Matrix type theme or horror / gothic type. Still tyring to work out the best way to incorporate the icons. Don't just want to do round/square ones all the time.

I'm just curious - why this theme uses a GP2X logo as one of the icons?
I know, it's based on the GP2X F-100 firmware theme, but with a copyrighted logo this can't be distributed on GPL/CC license ;)

Hi

Just like those icons. All are from the GP2X site except the cpu icon.

This really is for my use but I decided to put it up so people could try something different. There are tons for icons sets available to make your own theme.

Don't really want it as an official theme, don't think one is needed, as people will just replace stuff that suits them.
