Dingoo A320 forum

Tried to install the update. It was taking FOREVER. A lot longer than it should have. So I unplugged it. Yeah, probably a big mistake. Now when it turns on, it stays on showing the blue pawprint. I tried resetting the system but it still just comes on with the blue paw. How can I fix this? Please help!!!!

UPDATE:

Now it won't even come on at all. My computer won't recognize it via the USB connection. I tried turning it on via the reset. Still wouldn't come on. I tried plugging it into the charger. Still won't turn on. Did I break it for good? I hope not. I just got it 2 days ago!!! *cries* PLEASE HELP!

2nd UPDATE:

Now it's one with the blue paw print. I downloaded the Recovery Tool but my computer won't recognize it via the USB connection still. If I can get that to work, I surely can get the software on there again. That is if I erased it somehow.

while connected by USB, hold B and hit the reset button on the dingoo.

You mean while I have the USB connection in the dingoo I should then hold the B button and then hit the reset button?

Tried reseting it It simply will not be recognized by my computer as a USB connected device. Without that, I can't install the firmware again. It's busted.

while its connected by usb, hold the B button on the dingoo and push its hard reset button. this SHOULD cause it to be read as a basiv mass storage device. if that doesn't work then something inside has been well and truly destroyed. have you tried the unbricker tool? even if its not being picked up by your pc perhaps it will still do what it needs to do? worth a shot at least.

if it sees a device, use the device manager to manually install the driver. if you dont have it, you can get the driver in team dingoos unofficial firmware.

YES! Progress! While my PC still won't show it as an connected USB device, I did get the screen on the dingoo to start the fireware upgrade process with the latested firmware. How long should this take?

UPDATE:
It's been about 10 minutes since I got the 'Firmware Upgrade' screen. Nothing has happened. Okay, I give up. Looks like I'll be sending it back to DX for a repair or replacement. So mad at myself for trying to install the update. Must of fried it or something. *slams first to the table hard* What a moron I am.

SHOULD only take a minute or two...

which firmware are you putting on there? official or unofficial?

From the new firmware. What should I do now? Unplug again and try to just install the official from the recovery tool?
