Dingoo Feet

Postby Link on Wed May 13, 2009 2:28 pm

Just wanted to see if anyone else has lost any Dingoo feet?

What I'm talking about are the 4 small rubber pads that are on the bottomside of the Dingoo.

I lost two while on a long flight.

What have people filled the holes with if you've lost your feet too?

Thanks

PS. Anyone notice that 8GB is an option on the box above the UPC? 4 was checked on mine by hand.

Yep, I lost 2 feet on my white Dingoo as well, Trying to figure out what to fill the holes with myself. Drafting pencil eraser cut down with exacto knife? Have some ideas like that but haven't tried any of them. Wondering if would be wise to use a TINY dab of rubber cement to hold them in place as they seem o slip out fairly easily.
As far as I know no one is offering the 8 gig Dingoo even though it looks like they planned on releasing it.

I've used a toothpick to carefully tuck in the feet into their holes after re-assembling both of mine, and aside from one incident in my kitchen where I found the foot on the floor I haven't had any fall out of my black "daily driver" at all.

I can see 'em getting lost over time. If I lose one I'll make sure two are in the top holes and store the third away as a spare.
That way it isn't wobbly and the screen is angled a little better when laying flat.

use silicone glue/sealant/cauc (soft "dries flexible" type), use a tapered tip and squirt it into the screw hole slowly, leave a bead on the top, let it dry, then gently pull them out. Trim the excess glue from the nubs (if there is any)

newer longer plugs !
