This is an early port of "ASCII pOrtal" game - a 2d ascii clone of Valve's Portal.
The original was written in pdcurses, and run in X11. I recompiled it with ncurses, however this causes some minor glitches, such as characters not being refreshed in some places.
Also, I had to use a larger font, because the default dingux one was too small for this game to be readible. But this also has a disadvantage - a field of view is now smaller. Should be fine for most levels, but there sure are some that would require a larger one.
Here's how the game looks like with the default font:

Anyway, the asciiportal.dge is a script, that sets the font to a larger one, and then launches the game.
If you want to run it in the original font size, run in directly through the executable.
Also, since I don't know where the default dingux font is located, I can't switch back to it after exiting the game. You have to reboot dingux if you want your default font back. Sorry for that.
